Abstract
More than 50 years ago, the EFC Working Party 4 on nuclear corrosion has been founded to support the information exchange and international cooperation in the emerging field of corrosion in nuclear systems. Over the years, the working party has contributed to the progress in nuclear corrosion research in many ways, such as organizing sessions during EUROCORRs, international symposia, schools, or publishing books and journal issues. This chapter describes the foundation and development as well as the most important activities of this working party.
