Abstract

While clinical practice guidelines exist for treating children and adolescents with MDD, it is not known whether graduating psychiatry residents feel competent in providing guideline-recommended treatments. This study aims to provide a snapshot of the emerging psychiatric workforce’s confidence in providing evidence-based treatments for MDD in youth stratified by their anticipated practice population.
