Abstract
The article considers the structural types of military slangisms by the material of the English fiction of the XX-XXI centuries. As the problem of determining the structural peculiarities of the English military slangisms is ambiguously solved, the author identifies their structural types: simple words, compound words, derivatives, word combinations and abbreviations. The quantitative analysis has shown the prevalence of military slangisms as simple and compound words in fiction texts of the considered period.
