Abstract

The article is devoted to the implementation of the family policy in the Soviet Union. The interaction of the official state policy in the family sphere and the actual reflection of the behavioral strategies of the maternal and paternal subculture in the Soviet period are considered. Reconstruction of the private lifestyle (types of parental relationships, stereotypes of role behavior) of the family under conditions of public and state control, allows to show the changes in the structure, nature of the family and family relations during the period under study. The authors discuss the issue of the binarity of the positions of the private space of the family and the family as a public institution.
