Abstract

The issues of the development of industrial tourism in the territory of the Ural macroregion have a historical basis. It was in the Urals that a complex of the country’s largest heavy engineering, metallurgical, defense, energy and food enterprises was formed. Currently, the innovative development of industrial enterprises and the preserved historical objects of industrial heritage are a point of attraction for business tourists and travelers from all over the world and from different parts of our country to the region. The branding of the region, determined by the industrial potential, is a key factor in the activation of industrial tourism, which in turn contributes to the formation of a multiplicative effect for the progressive development of the Ural macroregion, determined by marketing, image, economic, social, resource, environmental and symbiotic indicators. An important role in the promotion of industrial tourism is played by projects developed at enterprises and corporations.
