Abstract

The average values of the parameters of spectral analysis of the background heart rate variability (HRV) of students of the circumpolar medical Academy depending on the level of their HRV variation range (MxDMn) were studied. The study included 118 subjects of both sexes. The density of the frequency distribution in 7 MxDMn bands and descriptive statistics of the parameters of the spectral analysis of the HRV were studied. It was found that with an increase in MxDMn, there is an increase in the levels of TP, HF, LF, VLF parameters (p = 0.000). The %HF level changed non-linearly with an increase in MxDMn (p = 0.017), and a non-linear change in the %VLF level (p = 0.041) was also found. The average values of the parameters of spectral analysis of the background heart rate variability of students of the circumpolar medical Academy correspond to the average values of those parameters of healthy women and men of similar age and living conditions, as well as highly qualified athletes specializing in biathlon and cross-country skiing
