Abstract

AbstractThe theory of γ‐magnetic resonance (GMR) in paramagnetic crystals in the presence of electronic spin relaxation is discussed. A general expression for the GMR lineshapes applicable to the spectrum with or without quadrupole interactions is derived. The theory is applied to the calculation of the GMR lineshapes for an 57Fe nucleus for different values of the electronic relaxation rate. The results obtained can be used to investigate the dynamics of the electronic‐nuclear system.
