Abstract

As teaching practice guidance depends on mentoring of guiding teacher at the practice school, pre-teacher can learn from guiding teacher, and teaching practice should be based on understanding of real meaning of teaching. Due to the characteristics of online teaching which was unimaginable in normal situation in the past, learning rights are greatly endowed to students. In such a situation, we should think of what the essence of teaching is. This study examines the relationship among elements — activities closely related with the educational views, that is, teaching activities, feedback of guiding teacher, and digital use capabilities etc. Based on the findings of analysis, this study suggests some ways to improve teaching practices to cultivate teachers. First, to respond resiliently to changes and innovations, there should be revolution in educational philosophy. Second, it is necessary to run the program related with development of contents needed in the curriculum and practices to strengthen digital capabilities. Third, the government should support efforts of teachers to strengthen their digital capabilities. Forth, it is necessary to strengthen not only pre-education, but post-education in the teaching practice process. It is necessary for university of education to think deeply of and discuss what to do to cultivate pre-teachers and to make teachers be recognized more highly in the new age.
