Abstract
The article investigates the functional potential and linguistic features of modern hypertext based on the three most popular online services — Live Journal, Twitter, and Instagram. The relevance is due to the need for a profound study of new forms of virtual communication. Special attention is paid to their functions, extralinguistic, and linguistic means of expression, as well as the ability to customize the needs-based communication. The article provides a comparative analysis of the studied online services, defines their primary functions, identifies their similarities and differences in content, the format of information submitted, and the target audience. The paper explores the graphic and spelling, morphological, lexical, stylistic and syntactic features of Twit and Insta posts and LJ blogs. The authors conclude that the linguistic and stylistic features of the analyzed hypertexts directly depend on their functional orientation.

В статье исследуется функциональный потенциал и лингвистические особенности современного гипертекста на материале трех наиболее популярных онлайн сервисов — Live Journal, Twitter и. В статье проводится сравнительный анализ исследуемых онлайн сервисов, определяются их основные функции, выявляются их сходства и отличия по содержанию, формату подачи информации и целевой аудитории. В работе исследуются графико-орфографические, морфологические, лексические, стилистические и синтаксические особенности Twit и Insta постов и LJ блогов. Что лингвистические и стилистические особенности анализируемых гипертекстов напрямую зависят от их функциональной направленности.
