Abstract

The paper introduces a thematic issue on the relationship between G. W. F. Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit and his Elements of the Philosophy of Right. It stresses the importance of a holistic approach towards Hegel’s legal philosophy. Moreover, it briefly analyses several sections from both works: sections from the Elements of the Philosophy of Right where Hegel refers to the Phenomenology of Spirit as well as sections from the Phenomenology of Spirit that can be read from a perspective of legal philosophy.
