Abstract
The purpose of this study is to comprehensively examine the trends of academic research on college education after the COVID-19 Pandemic and to suggest implications for the post-COVID era. To achieve this purpose, articles searched for as keywords ‘COVID-19’, ‘university education’, and ‘university’ were set as research subjects. A total of 197 articles published in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) journals from January 2020 to September 2022 were selected, and network text analysis was performed on research keywords. As a result of the study, academic research related to college education in the context of COVID-19 was mainly conducted with the main keywords of ‘college student’, ‘remote class’, ‘non-face-to-face’, ‘stress’, and ‘college life adaptation’. The study found that four clusters were derived as grouping keywords with high conceptual relationships: 1) research related to student experience of college life, 2) research related to psychological and emotional changes of students, 3) research related to adaptation to college life, and 4) research related to distance learning in non-face-to-face situations. Based on the findings, theoretical and practical implications for the development of college education in the post-COVID era are presented.
