Abstract

Nowadays there is a tendency of implementing artificial intelligence in various fields, including education. Lan-guage models, including Chat GPT, are mainly used for working with such monotonous tasks as checking homework, writing and assessment tasks. The implementation of AI has certain advantages (finding individual approach, fast and detailed feedback, etc.) and disadvantages (overdependence on the technology, academic cheating, etc.). This article examines the use of the above language system for generating English grammar exercises in order to introduce them into the educational process when working with primary school students in comparison with the use of similar material from traditional grammar books. The study revealed the absence of significant differences between exercises from grammar books and those created by the artificial intelligence.
