π character of the charge transferred electronic density in the charge transfer crystal TTF-CA evidenced by E.P.R.

Abstract

Abstract We report some results about E.P.R. investigations in the Tetrathiafulvalene-chloranile charge transfert complex. We specially investigated the E.P.R. line intensity anisotropy, and we analyse it in terms of anisotropic spin orbit coupling. Our opinion is that this result is an evidence of the π character of the transferred electron.
