Abstract
The purpose of the study is to study, analyze, generalize and systematize regulatory legal acts and institutional bodies in the field of evaluation and confirmation of the conformity of vehicles in the EC with the aim of determining the structure of national technical legislation in the field of agricultural and forestry vehicles. Research methods. Used methods of systematization and data analysis regarding the legal and technical foundations of European legislation in the field of assessment and confirmation of conformity (type approval) of agricultural and forestry vehicles. Research result. The article analyzes the updated system of approval (approval) of the type of vehicles, which is based on normative legal acts of direct effect – the Regulations of the European Parliament and the Council and covers vehicles of various categories. The main differences between the updated EU technical legislation – Regulation (EU) № 167/2013 and Directive (EU) № 2003/37 are summarized. Conclusions. The legal framework of the EU countries in the sphere of assessment and confirmation of conformity of rural and urban areas. and. l.-g. of vehicles consists of the national legal framework, which regulates the introduction into circulation and/or operation of vehicles in the domestic economic space of each country, and the all-Union technical legislation, which regulates admission to the EU market.
