انهیار الموروث الدینى للسمو البابوى فى العصور المظلمة (903- 964م)

Abstract

سعت البابوية فى روما إلى نيل مکانة روحية تسود بها العالم المسيحى فى العصور الوسطى، فروجت لنفسها نظريات السمو والسيادة على العالم المسيحى بعامة والکاثوليکى بخاصة، فأعلنت أن مکانتها تفوق الحاکم لأن البابا هو خليفة السيد المسيح على الأرض؛ وله سلطة إدخال المسيحيين إلى الجنة أو النار ، فأصبح هذا موروثا دينيا تناقلته شعوب غرب أوروبا بخاصة والعالم المسيحى الکاثوليکى بعامة. وکانت تربة العصور الوسطى التى عرفت بـ عصور الإيمان صالحة لوضع بذور الفکرة واستثمارها برعاية البابوية کمؤسسة دينية على رأسها البابا ظل المسيح على الأرض ومن له حق الطاعة العمياء على الحاکم والمحکوم . بيد أن البابوية فى العصور الوسطى قدر لها الدخول فى فترة ضبابية مبهمة عرفت تاريخيا باسم Saeculum obscurum أو العصر المظلم للبابوية وهى فترة انتزعت فيها هيبة البابا ومکانته بسبب الانتهاکات التى اقترفها البابوات بأنفسهم أو أنتهکت فى حقهم ؛ فاختلطت المقاييس واختلت الموازيين ، بل واستبيحت دماء البابوات فتجرأ مسيحيون کاثوليک على قتلهم وإهانتهم وهى جريمة فادحة وخطب جلل ؛ فکيف يقتل رأس الکنيسة فى العالم وزعيمها ؟! وعلى الرغم من أن الماضى کان شاهدا على استشهاد آباء الکنيسة الکاثوليکية مضطهدين على يد أباطرة أو حکام وثنيين ولهذا تم تکريمهم ورفعهم لمرتبة الرسل والقديسيين، إلا أن الحال إنقلب وجاء الوقت الذى أصبح فيه البابوات يقتلون ويمثل بجثثهم على يد مسيحييين کاثوليک ، وهو ما دفع فضول الباحثة إلى تتبع حالات الاغتيال أو القتل غيلة لبابوات روما فى تلک الفترة الزمنية الحالکة من تاريخ البابوية ، بهدف تتبع الآثار التى ترکتها تلک الجرائم على فکرة السمو البابوى کموروث دينى تناقلته الأجيال فى العصور الوسطى، وکيف تعامل العالم المسيحى الکاثوليکى مع تلک الجرائم التى لا شک وأن صداها قد تردد فى أرجاء العالم المسيحى آنذاک . Although the martyrdom of the fathers of the Catholic Church was persecuted by pagan emperors or rulers, and for this, they were honored and elevated to the rank of apostles and saints, but the situation turned and the popes became assassinated and their bodies desecrated by Catholic Christians, Which necessitated tracing the assassination or murder cases of the Popes of Rome in that dark period of the papacy’s history, and tracing the effects of those crimes on the idea of ​​papal supremacy as a religious heritage inherited by generations in the Middle Ages, and how the Catholic Christian world dealt with those crimes whose news spread around the world Christianity at the time.
