Abstract
Additional methods for the investigation of polyethylene composites intended for use under the conditions of the North and the Arctic are proposed. It has been found out that the introduction of dibutyl sebacate (DBS) into pipe grade polyethylene ensures maintenance of deformation characteristics of the polymer at a sufficient level at temperatures down to minus 50 °C, as well as an increase in strength of notched specimens.
