Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of the historical appearance of the disappeared village of Uspenovka, Aleisky District, Altai Territory. The main sources are field materials collected during the historical and ethnographic expedition in 2022 in the Aleisky district of the Altai Territory, primarily oral history materials created by interviewing eyewitnesses. They are based on a description of the history of the emergence of the settlement, its development and layout, the socio-economic appearance of the village.
