Abstract

AbstractThe students of generation 2017 mandarin language education study program at FKIP Untan has been studying Chinese for more than 3 years and should have sufficient ability to speak Chinese. But in fact, the situation is different, students' Chinese ability, especially in spoken Mandarin is still lacking, students themselves also recognize that their Speaking ability is not very good, teachers also evaluate students' ability needs to be constantly improved and deepened. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the obstacles to students' ability to speak. The author uses two research methods: interview method and questionnaire method, This research sample were students of generation 2017 mandarin language education study program at FKIP Untan, there were 26 students. the author from the beginning of June to July, the use of interview method and questionnaire method to study the teacher factors, teaching methods factors, teaching materials factors, student factors and learning environment factors. The results of the study show that teachers, teaching methods, teaching materials, students and learning environment all affect their speaking ability and bring about some reasons for Chinese learning difficulties. It is hoped that the suggestions of this study can achieve better Chinese learning for the school.Keywords: Speaking ability, Teaching factors, Obatacle faktor
