Abstract
The first article of the cycle was published in № 08-2023 of the journal «Adhesives. Sealants. Technologies». In the second article from the series, the most common thermal methods of the welding of plastic products based on thermoplastics are considered. Welding technologies with the use of extraneous heat sources: heated air, heated tools and melt have been studied in detail. The main parameters of technological modes of welding of the most common thermoplastic materials in mechanical engineering are given.
