Abstract
G. A. Kubrina’s efforts to discovering and preservation of the historical-cultural heritage of Altai krai made it possible to analyze in this article the experience of close cooperation between regional study civic movement, scientific community and government agencies during the years 1990–2020ths. The full-scale characteristic is given to the regional study non-governmental organization in the years 1990ths, first of all, Altai krai regional study association and its co-operative activities with scientific production center Nasledie. The article describes the realized and unrealized projects on study and preservation of historical-cultural heritage of rural territories, including the unfinished project of district catalogization of rustic and commercial-industrial architecture (the years 1995–1997ths), the project of development of «the ethnographic village» in the years 2014–2016. G. A. Kubrina’s personal contribution into preservation of a number of monuments is shown.
