Abstract

The article considers the main research on the peasant question, peasant uprisings in 1902–1907 in the Russian Empire. It is proposed to identify 3 main areas of interest for researchers whose works are devoted to peasant movements: Political, social, and economic. This approach will not only give a more objective view of the object of research, but also allow a better understanding of the context of works on the peasant movement.
