Abstract

Purpose - This study is to examine the influence relationship among university students’ career stress, career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior. Design, data, and methodology -This study collected and analyzed data from 252 question naires targeting the university students majoring in tourism located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, Chungcheong circle. Result - The finding are as follows. First, among the factors of career stress, career ambiguity, employment pressure, lacking information and internal influence have a negative(-) influence on career decision-making. And among the factors of career stress, career ambiguity, employment pressure and lacking information have a negative(-) influence on career exploration. Second, between the factors of career decision- making self-efficacy, career decision-making has a positive(+) influence on career preparation behavior. Third, among the factors of career stress, career ambiguity, employment pressure and internal conflict have a positive (+) influence on career preparation behavior. Conclusions -It is judged that this study will be usable particularly as the basic data of career guidance for university students.
