Abstract
Abstract The article examines a number of aspects of foreign economic activity. Today, it is the integration component that makes it possible to create a multiplicative increase in mutually beneficial trade between countries with products with a high share of added value. The upcoming change of technological structures thus imposes additional requirements on the customs content of various countries, because without effective interaction of these structures, the effectiveness of the entire process may be under quite serious question. The author considers both a retrospective and the prospect of using existing tools and models that contribute to the growth of integration processes in the global economic space. With the help of system, complex, situational and process approaches, individual moments are studied and the most promising algorithms for using the accumulated experience are identified. Alternatives to the existing development paths are proposed as a trigger for the use of hidden and hitherto unused reserves.
