The book covers actual issues of translation art and practical aspects of translation from the Uzbek language into the English language. As a special textbook for literary translation, it deals with sheer theoretical issues such as peculiarities of poetic translation, responsibilities of a translator, translation models, methods, matters of equivalence and adequacy in literary translation, and the role of background knowledge in literary translation, as well as practical aspects of literary translation. It covers various aspects of translation practices from English into Uzbek and vice versa.
