Abstract

Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to analyze effect of sport commitment on positive psychological capital and psychological well-being of Life Sports participants moderated by duration of Life Sports.BR Method: Three hypotheses were proposed and empirically tested. Data included a total of 750 questionnaires that were distributed to Life Sports participants. Out fo 730 questionnaires, excluding 30 inadequate or unreliable questionnaires, 700 were used for data analysis. Th edata were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and Chow test with SPSS 24.0.BR Results: According to results, cognitive commitment had positive effect on all four elements of psychological capital, and behavioral commitment has positive effect only on optimism and hope. While only optimism and hope had positive influenced on personal growth, positive relaiot nship with others, environmental mastery, and all four elements of psychological capital had positive eeffct on purpose in living. However if there was a time of one and a half years as moderator there was a difference in optimism and hope.BR Conclusion: For the development of sound society, it should consider one and a half years of continuous participation in the Life Sport which will promote physical helath and promote the desire for psychological well-being.
