Abstract

In this article, the author examines the features of the legal regulation of the institution of public power in Russia, reveals its characteristic features, and examines the legal nature. The author analyzes the content of the system of public power, basing his conclusions on the conclusions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The author reveals the features of public power before it was officially enshrined at the legislative level, analyzes the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, in which the signs of public power were revealed. The analysis of the concept and signs of public power is given in the historical aspect, it is concluded that in the federal territory public power can be characterized as mixed, in which the signs of the regional level of government and local self-government bodies are intertwined, it is concluded that a new level of power has been formed in Russia — public power.
