Abstract
The development of market relations in the hospitality industry causes the emergence of new challenges that improve management and strengthen the competitiveness of hotel enterprises. The hospitality industry is a joint activity of various spheres designed to meet the various needs of tourists. This article discusses trends in development of technologies at hospitality business. Continuous improvement of the quality of service, the use of modern technologies gives an advantage to the management of enterprises located in the market position. The development of information technologies and growing competition in the market of hotel services make it necessary to actively use innovations in the activities of modern hotels. Currently, innovation is considered one of the most important competitive advantages in the hospitality industry. At the same time, the range of application of innovations in the hotel enterprise activity is quite multifaceted. The priority areas for the development of the hospitality industry are: infrastructure, technological, intellectual, material and technical, organizational and managerial innovations. An increasing number of hotel companies are paying attention to expanding their services and capabilities. Adaptation of technological innovation to the specifics of hotel services is a source of opportunities and challenges both for hotel managers and employees as well as for customers themselves. The purpose of the research is to offer recommendations for optimizing the use of modern technologies in the activities of a hotel enterprise. The main methods used in the article are the method of system analysis and forecasting. The characteristic features of the development of the hospitality industry in modern conditions are: variable trends occurring in the service market; fierce competition between economic entities and increase the level of consumer requirements for services received. The article deals with the current realities of innovation in the hotel industry. The result of this research is concrete proposals for the use of modern technologies in the activities of enterprises in the hospitality industry. The obtained results can be used in the practical activity of hotel enterprises in the modernization and improvement of the service process.
