Abstract
One of the most topical problems of modern linguostylistics and liguopoetics is the research of unique linguistic methods preferably used by an author of the literary text. The present article is based on the method of linguopoetic analysis of the morphological level of the language of poetic text and individual style proposed and consistently described by O. O. Skorobogatova. An analysis of the methods of individual linguistic expression in the poem Verbs by J. Brodsky is suggested. A poetic selection, oriented toward the verbal selection and corellation with poetic meanings created by the author, are studied. The language game that arises due to the iconicity of the word verbs is analyzed. The novelty of the study is in a complex approach to the description of the lexical and morphological levels of the poem Verbs by J. Brodsky, an emphasis on the isolation of poetic meanings based on morphological semantics. The specificity of the literary work of the poet, largely devoted to thinking over the language, was taken into account. Key words: poetic text, individual style, language game, iconicity, poetic selection, juxtaposition.
