Abstract

The study discusses the problem of reforming of the Russian system of higher education over the past two decades, which has had a significant impact on the educational process, teaching and students. The analysis of the main changes that have occurred in higher education is presented, and their influence on the educational process and everyday education-al practices of modern students is determined. The results of an empirical research aimed at identi-fying the advantages and disadvantages of active informatization of education through analysis of the opinions of students and teachers are presented. It is substantiated that the changes initially aimed at optimizing the educational process, increasing the effectiveness of universities and, accordingly, ensur-ing high quality training of specialists, in practice lead to the appearance of imitations and falseointer-actions in education, the development of students’ formal attitude to the learning process.
