Abstract
The purpose of the scientific article is to characterize the unity and differentiation of the norms of labor law as a phenomenal legal category. It is noted that the science of labor law is characterized by unequivocal recognition of the unity and differentiation of legal norms, but the vision of the place and nature of this category - is a question ambiguous. Examining the different views on the place and nature of unity and differentiation of labor law, the author concludes that this category is a modern phenomenon right for acting simultaneously: the principle of law, by regulation, the function of labor law, characteristic of the system of labor law and its sources. However, the primary, that is, the one that initiates this category, allows it to develop, building up the system, «sprouting» in the norms of the field of labor law, is the interpretation of the unity and differentiation of the norms of labor law as a principle of law.
