Abstract

The article defines the great contribution of B. Alymov to the Kyrgyz literature and pedagogy. In addition to analyzing the genres of Kyrgyz literature, the scientist also proposed specific methods for teaching them. In his methodological works, he also divided literary genres depending on the age perceptions of students, psychological changes. An influential teacher in the 1960s and 70s, together with the Kyrgyz Research Pedagogical Institute, carried out traveling research work in almost all regions of the country. They went to the teachers' classes, analyzed and gave the necessary methodological instructions. At the end of the article, it is proved that B. Alymov studied Kyrgyz literature in depth, read scientific and methodological lectures and reports at a high level on how to implement actual problems in teaching the Kyrgyz language and literature in accordance with the requirements of the ongoing reform, and created extensive works on pedagogy. It was also noted that B. Alymov was an understanding, open, far-sighted and kind person.
