Abstract

The electrochemical behavior of rhenium-containing tungsten alloys waste of the type WRe (wt. %: W — 80–95, Re — 5–20) in a solution of (NH4)2CO3 1,0 M was studied using the method of linear voltammetry in potentiodynamic mode and potentiostatic electrolysis. Separation of tungsten and rhenium from the resulting electrolyte was carried out by crystallization of ammonium paratungstate and concentration of rhenium in the mother liquor. A basic technological scheme for the processing of rhenium-containing tungsten alloys is proposed.
