Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of the linguostylistics of a literary text. Basing on the material extracted from the poems, stories and novels by the Tatar writer, educator and poet of the early ХХ century Kasim Bikkulov, the role and place of polysemantic words in the organization and expression of the idea and thematic content underlying a literary work are examined using the contextual analysis. These lexical units are considered as the key elements through which the writer’s intention, his individual style and worldview are revealed.
