Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among participation motivation, leisure flow, and life satisfaction for baby-boom generation who are participating in golf. To reach the goal of the study, a total of 324 questionnaires were collected from Korean baby-boom generation. SPSS 26 and AMOS 22.0 were used to analyze the collected data. For the analysis, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, validity test, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis were performed. The results of this study were as follows. First, participation motivation had a significant relationship with leisure flow. Second, leisure flow was significantly related to life satisfaction. Third, participation motivation and life satisfaction were not significantly related. Fourth, leisure flow was found to have a mediating effect between participation motivation and life satisfaction.
