Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the relation between active seniors’ leisure passions, health concerns, and life satisfaction. The questionnaire was used as a measuring tool to require the research purpose. Total of 210 data were collected in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The Data were analyzed to verify the hypothesis by using the convenience extraction method. To process data, SPSS and AMOS programs were used. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, positive factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the health interest level of active seniors participating in tennis has been shown to have statistically significant positive effects on leisure passions. Second, the leisure enthusiasm of active seniors participating in tennis has been shown to have statistically significant positive effects on life satisfaction. Third, the health interest level of active seniors participating in tennis has been shown to have statistically significant positive effects on life satisfaction. Fourth, the leisure passion of active seniors participating in tennis has been confirmed to serve as a mediation factor in the relationship of health interest and life satisfaction.
