Abstract

The article deals with the main problems of interaction between foreign students from different ethnic groups. The author presents the results of an empirical study, the purpose of which was to identify the type of interaction and behavioral strategies at the university among the 2- and 4-year students from the Tajik and Uzbek ethnic groups. Based on the results of diagnosing foreign students according to a block of methods, the main strategies of behavior in conflicts and types of interaction with others were described in accordance with the ethnic group. Practical recommendations have been suggested to improve and harmonize the interethnic atmosphere and create the appropriate cross-cultural relations in the university.
