Abstract

In the article, based on the study of scientific, historical, philosophical, pedagogical literature and literature on aesthetics, the need for aesthetic education of the young generation is considered; the historical aspects of the formation of the concept of artistic and aesthetic taste in philosophical and historical literature were investigated; a structural and component analysis of the studied concept was carried out; the educational potential of the regional cultural and historical heritage is determined. The historiography of scientific research is revealed, which shows that the question of the origin and development of the concept of «taste» has a long tradition and was reflected in the philosophical concepts of many thinkers of different historical eras and peoples. Among them, the leading place is occupied by the works of philosophers. Modern aspects of the problem of aesthetic education, development and formation of artistic and aesthetic taste, its role in the understanding of beauty have been studied by both domestic and foreign scientists. Approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «taste» in scientific and dictionary literature are considered. It was determined that in the dictionary literature it is considered in two aspects: as a physiological sense of taste, the reaction of taste receptors to stimuli in the oral cavity; as an aesthetic phenomenon, a developed feeling and understanding of beauty, the ability to argue and make aesthetic judgments about art, music, and literature. In the study, we considered «taste» as an aesthetic phenomenon.
