FORMATION OF STUDENTS’ AESTHETIC TASTES BY MEANS OF ARTISTIC SPEECH (ON THE BASIS OF LITERARY CREATION»EXCERPT FROM A POEM» BY YEVHEN MALANYUK)

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of students’ aesthetic tastes by means of artistic speech. The material of the research is the text of Yevhen Malanyuk’s work «Excerpt from the poem». The object of the study is the image-tropical resources of this poetry: epithets, metaphors, allusions, appeals, comparisons, inversions. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of the formation of high school students’ aesthetic tastes as part of their aesthetic education by means of artistic speech. The author applies cultural and value approaches, the method of language analysis of the means influencing the processes of adolescents’ formation of aesthetic taste and the implementation of ideal views in their life practice. The result of the work was the separation of figurative and tropical means of artistic poetic speech in the analyzed text and defining the features that direct the process of high school students’ aesthetic tastes formation. The following conclusions have been made. The study of Yevhen Malanyuk’s poetic heritageis an effective means of forming aesthetic tastes and general moral and aesthetic culture of students, because it includes a system of basic spiritual and moral values and ideals embodied in the artistic means of poetry and symbolic images that reflect the worldview and folk culture. Students study poetry, which combines the aesthetic with the emotional, develops in adolescents a sense of love, compassion, joy, enjoyment of life. The results of the study make it possible to assess the poet’s contribution to the system of figurative and tropical resources of Ukrainian artistic speech and its role in the aesthetic education of a human.
