Abstract
This article examines the use of the normative and legal mechanism for the proper implementation of housing rights of certain categories of citizens, in particular of employees of the National Police, prosecutors, judges and civil servants. The article defines the basic directions for the use of this mechanism in order to improve the public housing policy for the proper implementation of citizens’ rights to housing by certain categories. The author examines processes of using a normative and legal mechanism for the proper implementation of housing rights of certain categories of citizens, defines the main directions for its application, and determines the efficiency of its usage for the improvement of the public housing policy and the proper implementation of housing rights of these citizens. The means of implementing housing rights of the abovementioned categories of citizens are systematized and the ways for carrying out public policy in the field of their implementation are analyzed. The essence of the normative and legal mechanism of public policy implementation in the construction industry is examined.
