Abstract

In present-day conditions, digitalization level of business is a determining factor of successful activity in the market, organization of interaction with suppliers and customers, and, accordingly, efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise. Currently digitalization projects of various sectors are being implemented in the agriculture of the country that requires transformation of the existing methods of production-and-economic activity, where a universal digital business model of an agricultural organization activity can become a basis. As a result of the study, the works of domestic and foreign scientists devoted to business models, digitalization, as well as digital business models, including agro-industrial and agricultural ones, are considered. The analysis of indicators of digitalization level of various industries of the national economy is carried out. It is determined that for today Russia is at the average level and in some indicators is ahead of some developed countries in terms of the development of digital technologies in the world. Among the types of economic activity, agriculture lags behind the leading industries in terms of digitalization that leaves ample opportunities for the development of information technology (IT). In order to increase the digitalization level of the agro- industrial complex (AIC), the concept of a digital business model of an agricultural organization is proposed. The developed conceptual digital business model of an agricultural enterprise is a strategic management tool used for the purpose of demonstrative presentation of business processes for determining promising business development options. The application of the model in practical activities of agricultural organizations increases the level of interaction of all participants in business processes in real time based on the use of electronic-and-digital communication channels providing them with equal access to data arrays and their reliability. The final result is acceleration of the effectiveness of decision-making and production-and- economic processes, which causes a reduction in transaction costs and a corresponding increase in the efficiency and competitiveness of agricultural organizations.
