Abstract

New technical solutions have been considered to ensure uninterrupted operation of snow removal machines in difficult weather conditions. The proposed technical solutions differ in that they are automatic means of warning and shutdown. The first automated monitoring tool allows you to promptly notify about load limits and, if necessary, urgently turn off the power to the electric motor. This device can be used both on snow removal machines and on other transport and technological machines, where overloads of electric motors are possible due to jamming of the conveyor belt. The second device improves snowplow safety by automatically controlling the snow remover’s wings and duplicating the continuous control of the snow remover’s wings. This technical solution makes it possible to ensure the safety of snow removal operations, when the frequency of damage to elements of track equipment increases during intense precipitation and poor visibility, and snow removal machines operate with open wings. The open wings of a snow remover extend beyond the dimensions of the rolling stock, which can cause damage to traffic light masts, marker bars, control and signaling devices located along the railway track.
