Abstract
Based on the theoretical and methodological analysis and own experience author of the article proposed the basic principles of continuous education of future specialists of the National Guard of Ukraine to improve their professional training. Determined that the distinctive characteristics of modern military education are: increasing the amount of information; integration of theoretical knowledge of various disciplines; combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills; intensive use in teaching information and communication technologies; the development of social and psychological professionally important qualities and skills of trainees ; individualization process of receiving and transmitting knowledge.Proved that continuous education should be ensured in the implementation of the basic principles that define its specific character in the system of training military NGU. The basic principles of continuing education include the following: the continuity of educational content on its various levels; professional-applied orientation; civil liability; professional validity; professional safety; principle that educates and develops training military specialists; consciousness and activity; advance.
