Abstract

The article proves the urgency of the problem of teaching students the peculiarities of choosing clothes and forming their own style. It is noted that clothing is part of the culture of human appearance, helps to create the image of a particular person and the family as a whole. From the ability to dress depends on the appearance of the individual, the peculiarities of its perception in society. Clothing is of great social, psychological and aesthetic importance. In the lessons of labor training in mastering the section «Technology of household activities and self-service» provides students with the study of technology design of their own style. The content of educational material for 9th grade students is analyzed and the structural elements of the information component of the technology of designing one's own style are highlighted. It is noted that in today's conditions with the help of traditional means and methods of teaching it is impossible to effectively prepare young students for independent living. The ways of activization of educational and cognitive activity of schoolchildren in the process of studying the technology of constructing one's own style are determined. The conclusion on the effectiveness of the use of information and communication technologies is made. A special role belongs to the use of multimedia presentations in the educational process. They are an effective way of compressing educational information, give the opportunity to form educational motives, the main of which is the interest in the subject. It is concluded that the implementation of educational projects and the availability of situations of free choice that require students to show personal initiative, also effectively contribute to the intensification of educational and cognitive activities of students. Peculiarities of the organization of students' educational activity as a project-technological one in the performance of creative tasks in the process of mastering the technology of designing one's own style are considered. Project development is a method of developmental learning and refers to modern pedagogical technologies, namely – personality-oriented pedagogical technology, which provides the development of mental abilities of the individual in the process of mastering the proposed knowledge, promotes cognitive activity of students.
