Abstract
We study family happiness in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) in three areas. These areas cover the entire spectrum of aspects of family life, namely: economic life of the family, family and social relations, spiritual and cultural life of the family. The analysis shows that the highest level of satisfaction with family happiness is in the sphere of spiritual and cultural life, the lowest level is in the sphere of economic life. The level of satisfaction with family happiness is lowest in the middle-aged group, in the group with less than secondary education, in a group with work for hire or self-employment, in the group with low standards of living. Based on the results of the study, the work proposes solutions for social workers in the field of public policy to promote, maintain and improve family happiness in the context of the fact that the industrialization, modernization and international integration of Vietnam have a direct impact on the family.
