Abstract

Climate change has both a crisis and an opportunity factor. The financial damage in Korea caused by natural disaster for the last 10 years is estimated 3.7 trillion won, and especially 14 day long extreme precipitation in 2020 resulted in severe financial damage of 1.3 trillion won. This clearly shows the negative impact of climate change on our society. However, crises always bring another opportunity. The purpose of this study is to present policy implications through case analysis of opportunity factors for climate change, and this study has the characteristics of literature research. The major findings of the study are as follows; 1) the creation of complex sports and cultural spaces such as indoor domes, (2) the promotion of the 'Plant Factory Village Pilot Project', and (3) the discovery of industrial and business items through various idea contests on the theme of changes and opportunities in daily life due to climate change.
