The military officer as a Nangjang(郎將), Song songrye(宋松禮) had participated in Muojungbyun(戊午政變) in 1258, with a lots of Sambyulcho(三別抄) officers. As the result, Choi’s military rule was collapsed. Song songrye who was a Sinuigun(神義軍) officer, was assumed to turn over unit under the his command to Doryungnangjang(都領郞將) Im Yeon(林衍) who was planned to eliminate Choi Ui(崔竩)’s political power. He was installed to Wisabojwagongsin(衛社輔佐功臣) in 1262, owing to his service toward the restoration of the royal regime. In the period of Kim Jun(金俊)’s political power Song song-rye was promoted to the position of general. But he was not taken into confidence by Kim Jun, military ruler. By the way, in the period of Im Yeon’s political power, Song songrye advanced to the rank of Jikmunhaseongsa(直門下省事), because of connivance toward Mujinjungbyun(戊辰政變) that had made wholesale arrest of Kim Jun’s strength. In the Im Yumu(林惟茂)’s political power that succeeded to political heritage of Im Yeon, Im Yumu relied on his father-in-law Yi Eungryul(李應烈) and Song Gunbi(宋君斐) in every affair to the primary national policy. On the other hand, Im Yumu avoided gradually Hong Mungye(洪文系) and Song songrye who were retainers of military ruler. Therefore, Song songrye had dissatisfaction severely to Im Yumu’s political power. At that time, he accepted to King Wonjong(元宗)’s order of the return to the capital, Gaegyung(開京). Song songrye with his son, Song Boon(宋玢) who was a general of Sinuigun unit, persuaded Sambyulcho(三別抄) units that were stationed to Ganghwado(江華島), with a great cause. After that, he killed directly Im Yumu who had intended fighting desperately against Mongol empire. Hereby, Goryeo military rule that having been maintained during one hundred years, had come to the end. Before proclamation of the abolition against Sambyulcho at 29th day on May in 1270, Song songrye voluntarily returned to the capital of the past, Gaegyung from Gangdo(江都) most rapidly.
