Abstract
The “NACSIS-ILL User Group” was organized in 1994 for the purpose of simplifying the complicated procedure for paying ILL photocopy charges by settling offset accounts twice a year. This makes the ILL accounting work of each group library much easier. However, this is only part of the ILL network. Burdensome work will continue until all libraries join the network and simplify the accounting system. If the ILL system is standardized to online only, librarians' work will decrease. Because the Iwate Medical University Library joined the NACSIS-ILL system and User Group at the beginning, the process and effective result are described.
