Abstract

Problem and purpose. The article is focused on a study of the readiness of orphaned students for vocational training and social adaptation in an educational organization. The purpose of this article is to determine the adaptedness of orphaned students in conditions of secondary vocational education (SVE). Methodology. To solve the tasks and check the initial assumptions, we used these diagnostic techniques: the technique “Adaptedness of students in the university” to identify their adaptedness to a learning group and educational activity (T.D. Dubovitskaia, A.V. Krylova); a questionnaire of socialization for revealing the level of socialization (the level of social adaptation, activity, autonomy, moral education) (M.I. Rozhkov). Results. In accordance with the purpose of scientific research, the problematic field of the adaptation of orphaned students in colleges is revealed: insufficient formedness of skills of independent activity; incorrectness in the organization of the optimal mode of work and rest in the new conditions; the unformed components of the professional-personal perspective; insufficient level of the formedness of moral and ethical qualities and moral upbringing; adaptability and socialization of orphaned students. Conclusion. It has been revealed that the adaptedness of orphaned students to education in conditions of secondary vocational education is a multilevel process that includes constituent elements of pedagogical, socio-psychological and professional adaptation and promotes the development of intellectual and personal qualities of students, which requires the development and organization of a number of educational activities. The implementation of the developed program “Adaptation” allowed orphaned students to form communication skills, to assimilate various social norms, to acquire a stable positive motivation for educational and professional activity, ensuring their personal and professional development.
