Abstract

The article considers the importance of using decorative and applied creativity for the formation of creative abilities of high school students. Various forms of decorative and applied creativity are mentioned, including embroidery and carpet making. It has been revealed how pedagogical methods can be applied to involve high school students in these types of creativity. Among these methods are the creation of creative laboratories, conducting master classes and the use of interactive teaching methods. The importance of a scientifically based approach to the use of decorative and applied creativity as a tool for the formation of students' creative abilities is emphasized. It is emphasized that this approach can have a positive effect on various aspects of personality, such as creativity, self-expression, self-discipline and the development of critical thinking. Accordingly, the use of decorative and applied creativity can be important for the preparation of high school students for future professional activities and the development of their creative abilities. In addition, the importance of the use of information and communication technologies in the development of creative abilities of high school students was revealed. After all, they make it possible to create new opportunities for creativity and innovation, and also provide the opportunity to use modern tools and technologies to achieve the goal. Using online courses and webinars can be a great tool for students who want to develop their creativity and find new ideas for their projects. Thus, the article emphasizes the importance of developing the creative abilities of high school students and provides specific tips and methods for their stimulation. The use of arts and crafts and ICT can be an important step in the formation of students' creative abilities and help them develop in the direction of choosing a future profession.
