Abstract

In article the current state and tendencies of development of foreign trade of Ukraine is investigated by services of river transport. Considerable influence of world financial and economic crisis on reduction of volumes of international transport on regional in the international markets, strengthening of processes of consolidation in the international markets of transport services is revealed. Weakening of the position of domestic operators in fight for customers not only on external, but also on internal the markets of transport services is identified. Need of modernization of river fleet of Ukraine for the purpose of competitiveness increase on the outlined segment of the international market of transport transportations is proved. Braking of process of reforming is determined by an inefficiency of institutional and financial support from the state. Risks of loss of authority of the state in case of braking of carrying out reforms are revealed and factors which negatively influence navigation revival Are determined by the main waterways of Ukraine the perspective geospatial directions of development of river navigation in a context of opening of new foreign trade routes. Potential of river container transportations and services in processing in river ports for revival in pre-crisis scales of a traffic and its further building is opened. Prospects of the most dynamic segment in the sphere of international transport of freights through the intermodal and multimodal mixed transportations are allocated. Taking into account obvious advantages of river transport by criteria of profitability, environmental friendliness, energy saving and safety expediency of association of efforts of the state and large national business for development of the international prospect by application in Ukraine of the latest technologies in system of cross-border transportation of goods and passengers is proved
